intuARTive

"Finding ways to use art and creativity to reconnect with the self, calm a noisy mind, be mindful, meditate and feel great. Letting go of expectations and judgement, forgetting about the product, enjoying the process and being kind" This is the description of the purpose of intuARTive's workshops.

The organisation needed a logo to represent themselves and also the packaging design for a series or three art/sensorial boxes around the usage of clay, pen and watercolour.
The intuARTive lcon mark is taken from the Spider’s Web or Ananse Ntontan symbol. Symbol of wisdom, creativity and the complexities of life. Anansi, the spider, is a well-known character in West African folklore.

How Ludo helped Kannagara Journeys create a recognisable Brand Identity

Bhavisha Gheewala shares how Designed by Ludo helped her create a strong brand identity for her Somatic Primal Practitioner business, Kannagara Journeys.
Project Overview
Bhavisha Gheewala is the founder of Kannagara Journeys, a Somatic Primal Practitioner business. She offers courses and services that help individuals on their journey of self-discovery and healing. To effectively communicate her brand's essence and attract her ideal clients, Bhavisha needed professional editorial and digital design services.
The Challenge: Crafting a Unique Brand Identity
Bhavisha needed a cohesive and visually appealing brand identity that would resonate with her target audience. This included developing a colour palette, designing journals, and creating marketing materials for her courses. She was looking for a designer who could not only deliver high-quality work but also understand both printing and digital processes
The Solution: Partnering with Designed by Ludo
Instead of opting for a brand agency, Bhavisha chose to work with Ludovica from Designed by Ludo. She valued the personalised and unique approach that a freelancer could offer. Meditation & Relaxation Group

Project Overview

Relaxation and Meditation Group is a London-based charity committed to enhancing well-being through the philosophy of a healthy mind and body. In 2021, I was tasked with designing an 8-page booklet and a roll-up banner to promote their mission, particularly targeting elderly individuals. The existing logo was low-resolution and incomplete, and the project required sourcing or creating images to complement the provided copy.

Design Process

1. Logo Restyling – Simplified and amplified key details of the existing icon to create a more polished and recognisable logo. Chose and improved a handwritten font for the typography to enhance readability and approachability.

2. Illustration & Visual Homogeneity – Opted for illustrations over photography to maintain a consistent visual style throughout the materials. Highlighted body parts that benefit from the exercises to make the information more engaging and informative.

3. Layout Design – Designed the layout of the 8-page booklet, ensuring a clear and organised presentation of the information. Created a roll-up banner that effectively communicated the charity’s message and visual identity.
